Photo of the Week

Our photo of the week was taken by Lacey Murphy off the coast of Nunatsiavut, an autonomous Inuit region in Newfoundland and Labrador. In Inuttut, Nunatsiavut means "Our Beautiful Land". Lacy is a cook aboard the R/V William Kennedy, a research vessel operated by the Arctic Research Foundation, the University of Manitoba and Churchill Marine Observatory. The William Kennedy is currently at sea near Coral Harbour, Nunavut with a team of scientists grappling with the effects of climate change.
